Intake
For long-standing chronic complaints, a comprehensive intake is often the most sensible approach. During approximately one and a half hours, we outline your complaints and possible solutions together. The intake is prepared using a questionnaire. Following the intake, additional blood tests or microbiome analysis are performed if necessary, a supplementation plan is drawn up to check for interactions with any medication, and other treatment recommendations are elaborated. Within a week this will be explained via email or telephone.
The costs for an intake are therefore spread over two dates.
If the symptoms are not extensive, a shorter consultation will suffice. Usually, a brief follow-up by telephone takes place after 4 weeks, and after
8 weeks, a first follow-up consultation of approx. 45-60 minutes.
Consultation fees
Consultations are possible both in person and via video call.
A first appointment preferably takes place in person, partly because a physical examination can be performed if necessary and a better intuitive alignment is possible. Consultations are billed based on consultation duration (per 5-minute time unit).

** The time spent during the consultation + any additional time required for developing recommendations/supplementary plan and/or requesting additional tests will be charged.
This therefore applies only to time spent outside of the consultation. If, for example, results are discussed during the consultation or a lab request is made during the consultation, this is naturally included in the consultation price.
*** In the case of e-consultations or telephone consultations, the time required to answer the questions will also be charged.
Billing
Once a month, in the first week of the following month, you will receive a detailed invoice by email with a payment term of 14 days. After payment, the invoice can be submitted to your health insurer.
Appointments should preferably be cancelled as soon as possible, but at least 48 hours in advance; otherwise, the consultation fees will be charged. Weekend hours do not count towards this. In short, appointments on Monday must be cancelled no later than Thursday.
Reimbursement
Health Insurance
Consultation fees are usually partially reimbursed if you have supplementary insurance, depending on your health insurance policy and your supplementary coverage. On average, this amounts to 40–50 euros per consultation. Your excess will NOT be applied to this.
The practice does not have individual contracts with health insurers. These are arranged at the level of the professional association AVIG. Most insurers recognise the AVIG and provide a daily allowance per consultation.
Insurers that provide reimbursement this year 2026 include Aevitae, ASR, AZVZ, De Christelijke, De Friesland, DSW, IZA, IZZ, ONVZ, Salland, UMC, Univé, VGZ, VVAA, Zilveren Kruis, ZEKUR and Zorg & Zekerheid. Reimbursement depends on your supplementary package, so always check this to be sure.

Invoices from Het Veld are claimed under service codes
24005: lifestyle medicine & general naturopathy or
24000: orthomolecular medicine.
Depending on the content of the consultation and your health insurance, code 24011 may be used instead. Unfortunately, health insurers provide little insight into the reimbursement per service code, so you will need to enquire about this yourself.
CZ, Achmea, FBTO, Interpolis, JUST, VinkVink and OHRA will, in any case, NO LONGER provide reimbursement for Integrative Medicine in this form.
