For whom?
After 10 years of experience as a General Practitioner, it has become more than clear to me that there is often hardly any time for patients with chronic, sometimes unexplained complaints. At Het Veld, they are most welcome, provided they are willing to actively work on recovery and are open to a solution-oriented approach rather than merely treating symptoms. Patients wishing for a more natural approach to their complaints are also very welcome. Therefore, a diagnosis is (precisely) not necessary for a referral. Want to read more about indications? Your patient does not officially need a referral from the GP, but I do appreciate one to gain immediate insight into their medical history, medication use, etc.

If, during the physical examination, additional laboratory tests, or otherwise during treatment, there are indications of pathology that necessitate further routine analysis, I will naturally refer the patient back to you and/or contact you personally.
Compensation
Reimbursement for consultations is provided through the supplementary health insurance package and varies by insurer and package. On average, this amounts to 40-50 euros per consultation/day. Some insurers, including CZ, no longer provide any reimbursement. See also: www.praktijkhetveld.nl/tarieven
Is your patient being treated at Het Veld?
If you have referred your patient, you will receive a message via secure email regarding the working diagnosis, the treatment initiated and recommendations, and the progress.
